Do's and Don'ts
Use the following principles to guide you for maximum success.
They are based on up to date scientific research and feedback from clients who have gained insight and significant change in their lives as a result of using them.
Print these and put them somewhere you can see them regularly to remind you
DO
Be brave and let you make mistakes - experiment and see what works
Ignore the need to be perfect
Make proper time for yourself
Set aside repair and maintenance time
Notice your achievements and reward yourself
Give yourself a kind word or little pat on the back as this will help
Speak to yourself with respect and politeness
Treat yourself the way that you treat other people
Connect to your caring energy
Use your breath and find that place inside you that is caring and kind and learn to direct it towards yourself
DON'T
Rush - speed fuels anxiety and adrenaline - stay calm and get more done!
Be self critical and judgemental towards you - it leads to crippling shame
Use permanent words such as should, must, ought to, have to, got to – replace with optional words such as could or want
Set yourself unrealistic expectations
Set yourself up for failure by trying to achieve the impossible
Follow the principles of loving kindness and compassion towards yourself and change how you feel about yourself, and your life, in ways you cannot imagine yet.
